Jessica Anzaldúa

Knowledge & Grants Manager

As a core member of the Programs team, Jessica supports grants and knowledge management and best practices for HIP’s highly responsive grantmaking across multiple program areas. Prior to joining HIP, Jessica worked in grantmaking roles at the national hunger relief organizations Feeding America and at United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. Jessica has a Master of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University and is currently completing a masters degree in organizational leadership. Jessica has over a decade of experience in many aspects of nonprofit management, including fundraising, community engagement and stewardship.

In her spare time she enjoys playing Latin percussion and has recorded, performed and toured throughout Chicago, the U.S. and Mexico. Currently, she performs from time to time in Chicago with her husband, Matthew, who is a touring jazz musician.
