Elvia’s role at Inicio is instrumental in propelling positive change within the Latine entrepreneurial community through strategic investments and collaborative efforts. She is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment that empowers Latine individuals to thrive. Prior to HIP, Elvia worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for the public finance team at Barclays Investment Bank in New York City.

She graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics, where she also founded an edtech startup aimed at addressing educational disparities. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, and savoring moments with her dog.
