Bay Engaged

Bay Engaged launched in 2018 to nurture a vibrant network of Bay Area Latine philanthropy professionals and to build a collective vision for leveraging philanthropy to address issues impacting Latine communities. The Bay Engaged network is made up of Latine participants across the Bay Area who share a desire to address the philanthropic sector’s historic underinvestment of Latine causes and communities.

In addition to creating community, the Bay Engaged network is a productive space to create a collective strategy to uplift emerging priorities of Latine communities, increase partnerships and engagement across broader philanthropic groups, and continue informing Bay Area philanthropy on how to best serve Latine. Since 2020, Bay Engaged has been a more structured network that convenes and organizes its members six times a year. Bay Engaged offers 6 virtual meetings and 1-2 in-person gatherings.
