Announcing Our New Class of Emerging Líderes!

Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) is excited to announce that we are launching our third year of the Next Generation (NGen) Latino Líderes program! More than ever, it is critical that Latinos have a seat at the table at the public institutions whose policies, funding, and direct services will impact the Latino community in the decades to come. Our NGen Líderes Program prepares mid-career Latino philanthropy professionals to advance to senior leadership positions by gaining knowledge, learning new practices, and building relationships within a network that supports their ability to advance and thrive. This year, 28 líderes from prestigious philanthropic and nonprofit organizations across the country will participate. The interactive program kicks off with an orientation retreat in June, followed by twice-monthly webinars from July through November. Líderes are given opportunities to deepen their learning and integrate practices between webinar sessions. They will also develop a personal learning plan and have the chance to engage in collective action with their peers based on common interests. Once they graduate, this year’s Líderes will be part of a growing network of NGen alumni who are championing change in creating a new, more equitable philanthropy that supports Latino communities across the Americas. We are excited to get to work with this year’s líderes: HIP’s NGen Líderes  Program is possible thanks to the generous support of American Express Foundation, Newman’s Own Foundation, Cleveland Foundation, Conrad Hilton Foundation, Douglas Patiño, and Southwest Airlines. Thank you!
