HIP Delegation: Family Separation Crisis at the Border
News on the crisis of family separation, detention, and deportation has been overwhelming, leaving leaders unsure about how to engage.
Hispanics in Philanthropy — in collaboration with International Community Foundation and Philanthropy California — invite you to learn more about the family separation crisis at the border.
Please join us on August 6 – 8, in San Diego, CA and Tijuana, MX for a funders’ delegation to the border where you will have the opportunity to:
Hear directly from communities most impacted by the family separation crisis;
Learn context and relevant history from experts, and gain insight on the challenges we are facing;
Connect, debrief, and plan with national and regional funders to develop lasting investment strategies for rebuilding our communities’ resiliency and health after trauma.
Suggested contribution: $475
(will cover meals, transport, meeting space, facilitation & honorariums to host organizations)
