Gratitude and Hope: Biden’s Exit from 2024 Race

Hispanics in Philanthropy's statement in response to President Biden’s announcement to withdraw from the 2024 Presidential election. 

“We honor President Biden’s years of service and leadership, especially his work policies that uplift Latine communities nationwide. 

“Under Biden's administration, significant advances were made in healthcare access for Latine families, including expansions under the Affordable Care Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. These policies have improved the quality of life for many and set a foundation for future advancements. His economic policies, such as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the expanded Child Tax Credit and support for Latine-owned businesses, have helped reduce poverty and boost economic opportunities within our communities.

“We thank President Biden for his service and commitment to our democracy.
