HIP Líderes Fellowship Cohort 5
After a year of uncertainty, Hispanics in Philanthropy is excited to announce this year’s Líderes Fellows of Cohort 5 for 2020 – 2021 starting in December! Now more than ever we need leaders who are willing to invest time in their personal development for greater impact in their respective communities.
HIP’s Líderes Fellowship cultivates a diverse group of mid-career Latinx working in philanthropy and nonprofits and helps them build relationships, knowledge, and new practices that support their ability to advance and thrive.
This year’s HIP Líderes represent 13 philanthropic institutions and 5 nonprofits from across the United States. Líderes were chosen on the basis of their commitment to working towards racial equity to achieve social justice along with their understanding of the different identities that exist in the Latinx community and how that is an issue that needs to be resolved in order to get to shared prosperity across the Americas.
Through the program, the Líderes will gain an increased awareness about their role in transforming the social sector and next steps they can put into action right away. A HIP Líder is highly adaptive, interconnected, and interdependent focused on relationships and holding integrity inside that relationship.
Once they graduate, this year’s líderes — the fifth cohort of the program — will be part of a growing network of alumni who are championing change in creating a new, more equitable philanthropy that supports Latino communities across the Americas.
