Anabel Giron

Anabel Giron is Director of Investments for the California Wellness Foundation, a private foundation with over $1 billion in assets. In this capacity, Anabel manages the Foundation’s endowment, focusing on developing and executing a mission related investment strategy. She is also responsible for grantmaking related to advancing the mission related investing field and is a member of the foundation’s Program Related Investing Committee.

Prior to joining Cal Wellness, Anabel spent seven years as Director of Investments at the California Community Foundation (CCF) where she oversaw $1.9 billion of charitable capital. Prior to her time at CCF, Anabel spent nine years in the financial advisory services field specializing in valuations.

Anabel serves on the boards of DIY Girls, Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE), and the Thelma Pearl Howard Foundation. She earned a BS in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University.
