Manuel Monasterio

Branch Manager/Senior Vice President-Wealth Management/Wealth Advisor, UBS Financial Services, Inc.

Manuel and his team oversee $2 Billion in investments for high-net-worth individuals and institutions at UBS, the world’s largest wealth manager. The group has offices in Newport Beach, CA, Scottsdale, AZ and Santa Fe, NM. Manuel’s role is to provide comprehensive wealth management to the group’s clients, and he and his colleagues work hard to ensure a multi-generational legacy through estate and financial planning, individualized investment management, and a focus on risk management.

Prior to working in the Securities Business, Manuel ran his own business and managed production facilities in Mexico. He currently serves on the Board of the Santa Fe Community Foundation and has participated on the Grants, Nominating and Investment Committees. Manuel also served on the Board of New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe, a public, statewide high school serving young artists with a rigorous, award-winning arts training and academic program. He graduated from Duke University with a BA in Psychology.

Manuel is proud of his heritage. He was born in Bilbao, Spain, the son of a Basque father from Vizcaya and a Puerto Rican mother from Canovanas. Manuel is bilingual and grew up in Texas and Puerto Rico prior to relocating to New Mexico.
