Carlos Rios-Santiago

Knowledge and Grants Manager

Carlos manages the Smart Simple grants management software, provides support in the implementation of digital platforms, develops guides and knowledge resources, and provides technical support to staff and grantees. Before HIP, Carlos worked at the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, where he co-lead the civic space grantmaking focusing on national and Michigan based nonprofit and philanthropic sector support organizations working on policy advocacy, research, and technology. He also developed, implemented, and managed an immigration grantmaking portfolio focusing with an access to justice lens.

Carlos loves cooking, playing video games, and spending time with his dog Rufus.
