Corrie Burdett

Director, People & Operations 

In her role, Corrie supports current (and future) systems, processes, procedures, tools and policies to ensure HIP runs effectively and efficiently in order for the organization to meet its programmatic goals in the US and LatAm.

She has professional experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, operations, strategic planning, human resources, program and project management, and building and leading teams. Prior to joining HIP, Corrie served as an Executive Director of a non-profit organization based in Nicaragua that participated in HIPGive's #GOMujeres campaign. She loves all things people and operations - building, refining, and connecting the day to day systems, processes, and procedures to the bigger picture.

When not working, Corrie enjoys reading, running, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. A long hike on a sunny day with her two energetic pups followed by a delicious meal with people she loves is a perfect day.
